An event that will go down in history! It’s the best way to define the 1st AGROTASSO held in the city of Tasso Fragoso. With the support of IDH(The Sustainable Trade Initiative) and Cooper Tasso, the fair received a large number of guests where everyone could attest to the productive strength of southern Maranhão. The event is part of initiatives for the Balsas Region Pact (PCI Pact).
Counting on the support from institutions such as Cooper Tasso in the region, and the city of Tasso Fragoso, FAPCEN together with IDH (The Sustainable Trade Initiative) promoted the 1st AGROTASSO, an event to disseminate agricultural technology and information to the population. With the presence of representatives from IDH Europe, the event’s opening ceremony included works being presented by FAPCEN Superintendent Gisela Introvini, followed by thanks from the President of CoperTasso and other local representatives. IDH Europe delegate Beatriz Richards was also grateful for the opportunity to be present, and felt happy and moved to be at an event that recognizes the importance of supporting small producers.
The event was attended by representatives of financial institutions, and the broad participation of the AMAO Women’s Platform, also with the support of the Fire Department, Judicial System and AGED (Agrochemicals Surveillance Institution) , which promoted lectures during the awareness and information event on: direct and duties of the population, combating fires and environmental preservation.
